New Years Post

This is my New Years story

Ok, it was about 1am and i was dropping my friend named Joy off from the big party we had. As i was dropping her off, her neighbor started to talk with us from across the street. He was blabbering most of the time, and all we heard is that he needed help getting his Christmas lights off. We agreed and went over there. While we are there he tells us all these stories, and other random things. About every 5 seconds he was changing his subject, and he looked like he was dizzy. (He was actually REALLY drunk) He thought Joy and i were boyfriend and girlfriend, so he kept on sayin lines like, "You are so luck y to have her" "You to are a good couple" "When's the wedding?" Just, funny stuff like that. After we talk for about 15min, we started to say that it was past curfew. Right when we said that, he said that we still hadn't helped him with the lights. The only thing we saw was one of those small plastic santa claus thing, that lights up. So, he makes me get it and he leads me through his house. He made me carry it upstairs, then downstairs, then back upstairs before he let me set it down. As we were leaving he asks, "Hey! Do you guys listen to music?" We said yes, and he made us listen to his ipod for about 5min. We tried leaving again, and he made us talk with him for a longer time. Saying other things like, "You are lucky to have her, she is so nice." and "When are you getting married?" and more stuff like that. We FINALLY got out of his house. When we got to Joy's house, we started to talk about how funny/awkward that was. Then, one of us glances over to the house and we see the guy peering out. Joy gets freaked out, and while she is running to her house she says bye. Then i run to my car and drive away. This whole ordeal took about 30min, and my dang car was running the whole time. Best New Years EVER!

This is what i remember on the morning of my wisdom teeth outage. I was in the seat getting dizzy because i got that sleepy shot. Then i remember being in a wheelchair. Next, i was in the car going home and i couldn't breath. Then i was on the ground throwing up blood, with a lump in my throat. Then mom was asking me if she should call 911. Then i said yes. Then i was in my bed, 2 hours later.

This is what happened starting from the car ride: I guess the seat was laid back. And the blood from my mouth got on one of those gaz pads, and that made is heavier. I guess the pad (because of good ol' gravity) got lodged into my throat. I started to gasp and stuff, and mom pulled over.
Then, somehow i ended up on the road. When i was there, i threw up some blood and my gaz pag (that took about 10sec or so) When i was trying to throw it out, mom was asking me if she should call the police (because she thought i was having a reaction from the anesthetics) Right when she got through with them, i started to breath and then she hung up. The police called back, and we said everything was fine. Then we went home. And i fell asleep.

Yup, we just got back from Canada today. It was not my favorite trip, but it was still ok. The whole week we just hung out at the cabin and stuff. BUT, Monday we went boating, Wednesday i went Mopeding, Thursday we went canoing, Friday we went to Cardston. And one of the days we went to see Get Smart. I actually really liked it. It was awesome! The pictures are on the right like always, but you will be surprised to know that i didnt take 1 classic picture! I think!

Police encounter #2

Well we were playing night games tonight. Around 10:40pm the elstons arrived. Somebody was in the middle of the cul-de-sac, and Gurt yelled, "If you dont move i will have to run you over!" So the kid backed off and they elstons park. They started yelling at us how it was past curfew and we needed to go home. But i kept on telling them that we werent being loud, why wont you let us play, and curfew is still in 20mins. Then they said there were going to call the cops and i said that that is ok with me. So they stand on the side walk and call the cops, while we sit in the Ouderkirks lawn playing extreme duck duck goose. (instead of tagging we trip, tackle, shot and/or grab them.) When the cops got here we heard the elstons ramble on about how evil we were. And we heard them say, "The last cop told us that curfew was at 10." Then the cop said, "Well.... i was actually that last cop, and i said it was 11." (the cop that come on my bday weekend)

After a few more minutes of talking the elestons went home and the cop started to go to us. Like last time i got up and started to talk with him. He basically said the same thing last time. I just explained the game we were playing and where we usually shine the flashlight. It looked like he believe us and left us with a, "Have fun playing for 10 more minutes."

Yup.... between the elstons and i the score is 0 to 2. I am taking the lead!

Well... I was bored today so i put some "funny pictures" on. But, this morning at 1am i found them out. So if you dont think they are funny just picture them from the eyes... of a hyper teenager.

Well, tonight i went to the temple. When i got there i was the only youth. I did about 48 names then 3 people showed up. As i was walking out i asked them if i could stay longer. They said yes. This time i did about 40 more names. Then 3 more people came. After that the guy that was baptizing me was too tired so i thing he went home or something. After the three people left. Thing i did about 97 more names, for a total of 185 names. :) I am pretty proud of myself. I was in the water for about 1.5 hrs. Stevens score was 53. So i think that i have beaten his score.

There was some snow on the hike.... This doesn't look amazing. But it was. My adrenaline was so high after i got down. I couldn't even stand!

Campout

Well, if you didnt know i went on a stake priest camp out.

1st day- We left home at 4pm, and we got at the camp place at 10:30pm. Then we set up the tent and went to bed. For some reason dad thought that the camping ground would be really really busy. Out of the 10 billion tents he has, he had to bring the smallest one. You cant sit up in it, and when you are sleeping you are 2 inches away from whatever is sleeping by you. That night (well, about 1am) dad woke me up with his snoring. Boy was it loud! I laid there for about an hour trying to figure out how to make him stop. I tried tickling his arm (that worked the best), coughing really loud, screaming in his ear, and push him alittle bit and pretend that i was sleeping. Finally i just fell asleep. :(

2nd day- We woke up early, ate breakfast and then went to the snake river. The water was the highest EVER, for the past ten years. So it was pretty cool. At first i was in the front (i am so happy. Because front is the best), then the driver of the raft said (pointing to me and this kid), "You fat kid, switch with that skinny kid!" She didnt say it like that but she meant it. So unfortunately I had to sit in the back. There were only three big rapids we had to go through. The first one there was a 13ft drop. That was pretty cool. But the raft behind us flipped over on it. So then we spent the next 30min trying to pick them up. The next rapid was not that bad. There was an underwater waterfall, that was 90ft tall. So when you go over the spot where the waterfall was under, you kindof sank in. I was covered to my chest before i climbed up the raft. It was pretty intense. The last rapid was awesome. There were about 10, 8ft drops in a row. That was the funnest. After the rafting (that took about 1.5hrs) We hung around for a bit then went to a place called the Bar J. It was these country guys trying to make us laugh. Emphasis on the trying. jk, they were pretty good.

3rd- We woke up and had breakfast. The hike was supposed to start at 9. But, instead we started at 10:30. So we had 2hrs to do nothing. We got done with the hike around 3, and then sat around and did nothing until 9. We had a fireside then we went to bed. It was sooo lame. There was nothing to do. Everybody wanted to leave around 4. But the driver didn't. So all i did was sleep.... hmmm....

4th- We woke up, ate, did a 20min service project, then we left. Good thing we stayed an extra night.

That was about it. Sorry that it was so long. :)

My birthday!!!!

Well, if you didnt notice i had my birthday today. I am now 18, i mean 17. This was actaully one of the best birthdays EVER :)

I woke up about 10 and i did stuff until 12. After that i went to seven peaks with 2 lady friends and another guy friend. It was SO fun. Then around 6 30 i got back home and had played around on the comp. When i was done with that we had a Meyer B-day Partay! I got: 2 shirts, a squishy thing, a awesome computer mouse, all the Simpson's episode, and the Enders game book. After that Awesome party (by the way there was no candles) i played night games for a couple hours. When we were playing, a cop car showed up. Everybody backed off but i went and talked with him. This is what he said:

"Well, i got a call that you guys were being loud. I dont even know who even called in the complaint. (when he said that, we all pointed to the elstons.) But as i can see, you guys are playing a pretty quiet game. And curfew is still in an hour. So i guess i will leave you guys alone." Then he drove away. That was basically the conversation.

Well i went to the temple again this week. As always, i went on Wednesday. When i got there, there was no youth. But i only did 15 names. After they said i was done, i told them i could do more. But i guess i didnt. hmm... Well, before i went in and after i came out i took some pictures. Some of the pictures are blurry because there was bad lighting. They are on the right.

What we did at morp

1. We all (16 couples..) went to a friends house and had dinner. Hamburgers and Hot dogs. Not my favorite but it was ok.

2. While the girls were doing something in the house, the guys played some b-ball and on the playground.

3. When the girls came out they had tons-o-packs-o-flour. Then the fight began! They threw a good amount of flour at us before we got some of the bags. In the scuffle my date fell down and i HAD to empty my whole pack on her. It was really windy so the flour would do cool stuff in the air.

4. After WW3 we got our pictures taken. Out of everybody... i won! Even before the picture a couple guys held me down while the girls finished off their flour. But i still won. I have saved the Meyer family name.

5. Then we went to the dance. On the way i found some shaving cream in the car i was riding in. So we had a shaving cream war. It was everywhere! Ears, eyes, mouths, ceiling, ears again, windows, and you probably get the picture. It was really fun, so we got another bottle and attacked the other people when we got out.

6. We got in the dance and got our pictures taken again. My hair is sweet awesome in it because i learned that shaving cream is way better than gel.

7. We went to the dance floor and looked at my moves for a minute. Then we stole some glowing gel stuff from our friends from our other group, and put it all over our faces.

8. When we got bored of the dance we went back to a friends house. There we made marshmallow guns and shot... marshmallow's! It was the most fun i have had in such a long time. The best was the noise of a soggy marshmallow flying out of your gun and squishing on your friends face two feet away.

9. After about an hour a little bit we went into their back yard and made s'mores. Then we played volleyball until the sprinklers came on. And how doughy we were.

10. After dat we went home. When i got home i took a ten minute shower and i am still smelling like flour, and finding more saving cream in my hair.

Well, i wanted to answer in a sweet awesome way. I planned to get a cake and put a butt load of candles on it. When she would blow it out, there would be trick candles that would come back on saying yes. It was amazing in my head. But when i got home from work (i told mom to make the cake while i was at work) mom made brownies. i was a little mad, but i still thought it could work. I knew we didnt have any fake candles so i thought we could just use real ones. But guess what... we had no real ones. A traditional Meyer way. Not one candle in the whole house. After that i was pretty mad, so we just decided to cut up the brownies and spell yes. Yup my beautiful plan was foiled.

Well today was the first time in rained this year. And boy did it rain! It actually went longer than 5 minutes and it hailed also. The following clip is my happiness that school is "over" and how happy i am about the rain. (The reason i ran back so fast, is because the hail was hurting me... alot)

AP Calculus

Well i took the AP Calculus test. Like always, i procrastinated until the very last day i could study. I studied the whole day, and i was the most stressed i have ever been in my life. The test started at 7:30am and ended at 12:30pm. What a long and boring test! The whole day i have been wiped out. It feels like i ran a couple of miles this morning. But, the good thing about today is that it is about the last day of school. After today i have 2 serious classes out of the 8. So.. the last 15 days of school are going to be PAR-TAY!

As you know I got Stadium of fire tickets. I spent $1,295 on 25 tickets. 8 were for a friends and 6 is for the family. Which means i have an extra 11 tickets that i want to sell over the internet. Do I:

1. Sell the tickets now, for about $250 each, because they just came out and everybody is willing to pay.

2. Sell in a month so the need for tickets get higher and hopefully get a greater profit. But it might not go as high because everybody already got the tickets right when they came out.

3. Sell in two months and let the last few people buy them for a higher price. But only a few people might wait that long for the tickets, so there wont be as much bidding.

What shall i do!?

Asking to Prom

Well last night i asked to prom. We had no ideas of what to do so we first just met up at Macy's. When we got there we decided to buy candy. $20 worth of candy!!! So the girl i am asking has a twin right? Right! Well we called the twin up and told her to stall her family until we were done (they just got out of a play). So we get to work.

First: We make a pathway to her porch with cheese (and dont worry MOM, it was easy to take off).

Second: In cheese we wrote something about going to prom and my name.

Third: We stuck candy on all of the cheese.

Thats all we did. We called her when we were done and she said that they were going to come back in about 10mins. So we decided to take some pictures. As we were doing it her mom pulls up to the driveway. At first we thought it was them and ran away like guilty jackrabbits. As we were running we decided to pile in one of the cars. All the doors were looked but we managed to unlock one and all piled in the back. There was five of us so it a tight fit. The mom just laughed at said, "Oh, how cute!".

We got out of the car and had a good laugh about it (when the mom went inside). But then we look over and see the real car coming. So instead of going to the car we run away to separate places. When my soon-to-be-date was looking at the candy/cheese we managed to sneak to the car and drive away.

I know it was a cheesy way to ask but it was still fun.

Ya i am kind of sad but i still am going to ask. So i still need ideas asap.

Well ok here is a story about how sweet-awesome I am.

Five months ago these two Mexicans walked into Great Steak. It was a Saturday night so of course I was working. They ordered two Cheeseburger's in the combo's and two cokes with no ice. One of the Mexicans couldn't speak English. When they finished their food they gave me a funny smirk and said: "Have a nice day." And they walked out without paying. Well of course that made me flippin' mad, but I got my revenge.

Last Saturday the same two Mexicans walked in. Right when they walked in I knew it was them and my brain was concocting a plan to get them into a trap. Guess what they ordered? Two Cheeseburger's in the combo's and two cokes with no ice. The whole time I was at the front watching them (luckily it wasn't busy), and when I wasn't watching them my co-worker kept an eye on them. When it was my turn to watch them they finished there food and was staring around. It looked like they were trying to get out of some awkward position. They stood up and gave me that same, sweet smile and said, "Have a nice day." I was so ready for them to walk out (because I was going to get there license plate or something). When they were heading toward the door I started to bolt after them. The second i started moving they turned around and started to laugh. They kept on says, "We sometimes forget to pay, because we are so used to do it at the end." What a load of bull, I thought. I said that they also did that five months ago. When I said that they kind-of stopped laughing but they had that same stupid smirk on there face. (My I hate that smirk) I charged them double and they left. I WIN! That was the best night of work I have ever had! Nobody else was in the store so I was prancing around the room feeling like I was the best person in the world. I was so happy that i finally got them. I felt so guilty that i let them walk out. But now everything is better and now I have something to write in my blog. I taught them never to mess with Bryan Meyer ever again. :)

It is a topic of the week yet again. Well this time it is more important (kidding). Well last week on Friday (it was Student Body voting week) and i decided that i was going to run as Student body president. But by the time i wanted to run it was too late. Yeah i was pretty sad. So i did the next best thing.

I am running for the VP of the senior class. On the 17th i will need to start putting posters up for my campaigning. I can only have two posters up in the primary elections and four on the.. next.. election. The only one i can think of is: Bryan Meyer! "he doesn't waste time on posters!" And i would make the poster really crappy.

So i need your help to help me win. If you have any ideas please tell me. Thanks!

Well, this is what I did at work tonight. We put some caramel in a bowl (because we were bored) and went to town. Above you can see that thumbs can sometimes be quite tasty.

The crazy person eating the caramel is Charlie. This is our usual unusual behavior. The movie isn't as funny as is seemed at the time. But we had a good time anyway, and...

Aspen Grove

Yes, yes, yes, dad made me go to Aspen Grove to see the snow. The snow was about 5ft high and we had to use snow shoes in order to make it through the snow without any major problems. My snow shoes stayed on for 10mins after I tied them on. So dad tried to tie them on and they fell of simultaneously about 20secs later. I tied them again any they were on for a couple of minutes then they fell of. Dad tried again and failed miserably, very miserably. So the last 10mins of walking in the snow i was sick of tieing them on so i just held on to them. This all may sound stupid and it really was stupid. But it was the only thing that was exciting. If you were wondering the castle still smells like... like... urine. Just in case you weren't getting enough sleep pondering about this secret of the world.
